The coin is part of the “Dark Nature” series boasts an impressive design with Smartminting Ultra High Relief, an Obsidian Black finish, Proof quality, and Matte surfaces.
The reverse of the coin features a detailed depiction of the Thai Black Tarantula, a fearsome black arachnid, shown in full. Surrounding it is the inscription "DARK NATURE," representing the series name. On the obverse, a close-up captures the tarantula in the act of attacking its prey.
The obverse displays the tilted Coat of Arms of Palau, along with the inscriptions "REPUBLIC OF PALAU" to denote the issuing country and "20$" for the face value.
